Spray Painting of Metal Communal Doors at Olympic Close in Luton

Tender description

We require a contractor to provide us with a service to repaint 5 communal doors at Olympic Close in Luton. This work is included in a refurbishment project to the communal areas of 5 blocks. As the main entrance doors are metal with an exterior coating, the doors require spray paint method using a specialised paint that is durable, accepting to metal and are touch dry straight away. Doors to be prepped smooth using primer and dust and dirt free to avoid blistering, chalking and cracking. Colour to be RAL 5005 signal blue. To supply all labour and material with works expected to be finished within 1 week for all recoating of 5 doors. This should allow for setting up, application, time to cure and any contingency work that may occur as the blocks are occupied with residents and the doors due to be painted are residents only means of escape. Therefore contractor is expected to be mindful of this. This is a preventative service in order to maintain the upkeep of our housing stock. The block of flats within Olympic Close are due for a refurbishment under the programme of works schedule managed by our in-house Client team. We are improving our resident’s living standard by carrying out these upgrade works and in return hopefully improving resident’s perception on their communal areas.
