St Leger Homes are establishing a Contract with suppliers of hand tools and power tools. The Company requires specialist(s) in tools and dust management equipment on an outright purchase basis in order for trade operatives in service departments to undertake repairs and maintenance to tenanted and void properties. Tools will range from hand tools and hand power tools. The supplier(s) will provide a managed service, including the recording of warranties, asset tagging and establishing and managing an asset register. The successful supplier(s) will have suitable arrangements in place to maintain and repair tools both under and outside of warranty to the timescales in the specification. Power tools include, but not limited to, SDS Drills, Core Drills, Angle Grinders, Planers and Jigsaws. Dust management equipment includes M Class vacuum cleaners. The contract will be awarded on the basis of Lots as follows. • Lot 1 - Supply, Servicing and Repair of Power Tools (including Mains Operated Dust Management Equipment), HandTools and Consumables • Lot 2 - Supply, Servicing and Repair of Rechargeable Battery Operated M Class Vacuum Cleaners and Associated Accessories and Consumables Tenderers can bid for one or both Lots.
