Tender description

Cardiff Council is carrying out a tender process for the procurement of eco-friendly/sustainable sanitary/feminine care products. Welsh Government has awarded funding to purchase sanitary/feminine care products for young women of school age. The products will be purchased by the local authority and issued free of charge to young women of school age in line with the Welsh Government initiative to combat period poverty and address period dignity. Reusable — period pants Tenderers will be required to provide eco-friendly products for sanitary/feminine care products that are sustainable and environmentally friendly products including its packaging. Reusable — cloth sanitary pads and sanitary wet bags Tenderers will be required to provide eco-friendly products for sanitary/feminine care products that are sustainable and environmentally friendly products including its packaging.
