Rushmoor Framework for Maintenance Contractors

Tender description

Rushmoor Borough Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced tradespeople to carry out repairs and routine maintenance to Council properties. This will be a framework agreement where a number of suppliers (five for building works, three for each of the remaining lots) will be appointed per lot. Lot 1. General Building Works – to include roofing, guttering, painting and decorating. Brickwork, window repairs, replacement and glazing, minor external works including tarmac and concrete works. Clearing of vacant sites. Lot 2. Electrical Works – to include new installations and repairs to existing electrical installations and partial or full re-wiring of premises as and when required. Lot 3. Plumbing and Heating Works – to include installation and repairs to Gas, repairs and replacement of existing pipework, sanitary ware and fittings. Lot 4. Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning – to include installation and servicing and repair of ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Lot 5. Drainage - to include installation and repairs, maintenance and replacement of foul, surface and sewerage drainage systems including removing blockages and CCTV surveys. Lot 6. Grounds Maintenance – to include weeding, pruning, fencing, gutter clearance, paving and tree trimming. Lot 7. Window Cleaning – to carry out regular window cleaning. Lot 8. Locksmith – to carry out lock repairs/replacements and to cut keys. The term of the framework will be for a period of two years with an option for a further two one year extensions. Individual call offs may run beyond this date if placed prior to the end of the framework. Prices as per your tender submission will be fixed for the first twelve months of the contract, with a percentage increase in line with the retail price index (RPI) applied after one year of the contract start date and every year after that for the contract duration.
