Request for Tenders for the provision of an Assurance Framework for Commissioning (Arrangement of Patient Treatments) Process

Tender description

It is a function of the National Treatment Purchase Fund (“NTPF”), in accordance with Statutory Instrument 179 - National Treatment Purchase Fund (Establishment Order), to arrange for the provision of hospital treatment to classes of persons determined by the Minister for Health. As part of a normal review process the NTPF is seeking advice on and implementation of recommendations on the assurance framework in place in respect of matters that impact on the patient experience for those patients being treated with funding provided by the NTPF. The Assurance Framework allows for governance, including the identification, assessment and management of patient experience risks, relevant and appropriate to the NTPF arising from its role in arranging for the provision of hospital treatment to public hospital patients. The NTPF is seeking external expertise to advise on current assurance processes for the NTPF and implement recommendations arising from that advice.
