Project Consultancy, Design and Management

Tender description

The requirement is for professional services in the form of consultancy, design and management. There are three strands to the Requirements: Phase 1 - Collaborate with PPD (and other parts of the Authority) to review the existing project commissioning, scoping and management procedures. To design, test and implement a sustainable model which reflects industry recognised procedures, techniques and IT platforms. The model will be comprehensive and take into consideration the Authority's immediate and future business needs. Phase 2 - Manage the delivery of specific projects or feasibility studies at the request of the Authority; following the processes and procedures contained within the newly designed Project model and existing Authority guidance. The Authority will support the Supplier and act as intelligent client. Phase 3 - The Supplier will support the Authority's continuous improvement by delivering periodic and timely updates and support which ensures the Authority remains compliant with changes to legislation and at pace with industry good practice. The Supplier will collaborate with the Authority to review, revise and assure project commissioning, scoping and management processes to reflect the strategic and operational needs of the Authority. Therefore the Supplier is required to adopt an agile and flexible approach to support delivery of the Authority's business objectives.
