This is not an invitation to Tender. The purpose of this Market Sounding Exercise is to identify suppliers who are interested in participating in any future tender ‘Framework Agreement for Traffic Control Equipment Supply and Installation’ which Kildare County Council may advertise. Interested suppliers should respond though the Etenders messaging system only with appropriate support information.The works would include but would not be limited to: Supply & installation of traffic control equipment including traffic signal equipment, pedestrian-crossing traffic signal equipment (Pelican, Toucan, Pegasus and Zebra), electronic bollards, belisha beacons, controllers, in-station equipment, cycle counting, cabling, traffic counting and classifying equipment, speed limit cameras, out-station monitoring units, out-station transmission units, push buttons, school warning signage, variable messaging signage etc. •All equipment, both hardware and software, must be consistent with the MOVA/UTC SCOOT equipment currently being used; •Installation of XYZ, MOVA, SCOOT, speed, inductive counting loops and above ground detectors, including approved kerbside detection and on-crossing detection; •Detailed design of traffic signal layouts in AutoCAD, relevant configuration, implemented and validation of UTC/SCOOT and MOVA by specialist staff; •General works associated with supply and installation of traffic signal equipment for UTC/SCOOT and MOVA controlled junctions including traffic management; •Supply / Installation or removal of traffic control equipment; •Installation of GSM and wireless communications for RMS and UTC/SCOOT and MOVA equipment consistent with our current network; •Install controller specifications onto our Fault Management System (FMS) Hardware, Remote Monitoring System (RMS) hardware and Urban Traffic Control (UTC) System Hardware.
