We are looking to purchase 2 fluorescence based high-throughput cellular screening systems for assessment of ion channel function that accommodate multiple users for high-throughput phenotyping and drug discovery capabilities. We are looking to purchase 2 fluorescence based high-throughput cellular screening systems for assessment of ion channel function that accommodate multiple users for high-throughput phenotyping and drug discovery capabilities. These systems will allow changes in cytosolic ion (primarily calcium) concentrations following the addition of various compounds. These measurements and additions will occur simultaneously in every well of a 96 well plate. Measurements will be made by detecting changes in the intensity of fluorescent ion indicators previously loaded into cells using a sensitive CCD camera
