A supplier engagement day will be held on Friday 21st of February at 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at St James Hospital Leeds LS9 7TF to give all interested companies an opportunity to meet members of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT) and view the locations. Companies are requested to proceed to the reception area in Gledhow Wing at St James Hospital LS9 7TF. A maximum of 2 representatives will be allowed to attend from each company. The provision of high quality, imaginative commercial and retail catering and vending services to the following locations: 1) Leeds General Infirmary, Great George street, Leeds LS1 3EX; 2) St James University Hospital, Beckett Street, Leeds, LS9 7TF; 3) Chapel Allerton Hospital, Chapeltown Road, Leeds, LS7 4SA; 4) Wharfedale Hospital, Newall Carr Road, Otley, LS21 2LY; 5) Seacroft Hospital, York Road, Leeds, LS14 6UH. For the avoidance of doubt, the provision excludes patient meals. The Trust is seeking a suitable partner to provide a range of commercial retail café and shop outlets, staff and visitor restaurants, vending services and a hospitality provision for meetings and events across the estate. The services will be conducted Monday — Sunday 52 weeks of the year. Some site timings may vary due to size, location and local demands total net turnover range between: 3 750,000 GBP and 4 000 000 GBP currency: GBP division into lots Lot 1: Visitor retail and concession outlets; Lot 2: Staff and visitor restaurants and hospitality; Lot 3: Vending services. It will be expected that Lots 1 and 3 will be offered on a concession basis providing a fixed return to the trust, Lot 3 will be on a management fee with guaranteed elements of performance. Please see below draft details of the engagement day: The aim being to give the prospective companies a good induction as to not just the services required, but the aims, objectives and expectations of the trust and the style of partnership the wish to enter into. — arrival coffee, introductions, format of the day, — presentation about the trust and explanation of aims and objectives, — explanation of process and timetable, — walk around of St James, — travel to Leeds general, (Existing outlets), — travel to Wharfedale, — travel to Chapel Allerton, — travel to Seacroft, — return to St James (closing remarks questions and next steps). This would take most of the day finishing around 3.30 p.m.-4.00 p.m. Further visits After the initial engagement day, companies may not have seen all services and will require a second visit to return and spend more time surveying specific locations. Whilst as the hospitals are public buildings they could do this at any time, professional courtesy would dictate that they notify the trust of their intensions to ensure a sensible spread of visits. Suppliers would not be allowed to talk to staff or on-site management any questions would need to be directed to the Trust, preferably via the portal.
