Homes England - Construction productivity study

Tender description

Homes England is seeking to commission expert research, analytical and practitioner support to: • Diagnose the specific causes of low rates of productivity, productivity growth and inefficiency within the housing construction sector; • Identify interventions, policies and products that both the public and private sector could undertake in order to improve the productivity of the sector over the short and long term and to incentivise housebuilders. This will include ambitious interventions that have the potential to disrupt to achieve this aim; and • Recommend specific interventions, policies and projects that Homes England and HMG could undertake to support improved productivity growth in the sector.
