The Locality Based First Tier Welfare Rights Advice Service provides first tier welfare rights information, advice and guidance in each of the 5 Sunderland localities on Welfare Benefits, Debt & Money Advice, Housing Rights, Employment Rights, the challenge of Council Tax & Housing Benefit decisions, including up to Unified Appeal Tribunals and general housing need advice, that supports the prevention of homelessness. That framework is split into lots each covering a locality within the City with a sole provider placed on each lot. The call off contract for the provision of the main locality advice provision will be awarded to the appointed provider on each lot simultaneously with the framework award.
