The contracting authority is seeking to commission the provision of catering and domestic services at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital from November 2020. The contracting authority is seeking to commission the provision of catering and domestic services at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital from November 2020. This will include the provision of catering for patients and restaurant and vending facilities for staff, patients and visitors. Domestic services include cleaning (including window cleaning), pest control and waste management. Further information will be provided to those who express interest in this opportunity. It is envisaged that the Hospital site will be subject to major redevelopment during the term of any contract it enters into for the above service and as such the successful contractor will need to act flexibly to deliver the services. Further information about the new development will be provided to those who express interest in this opportunity. The Trust is currently envisaging a long-term services contract.
