Translink are seeking to contract with a single supplier for electrical consumable spares which are to be used throughout their portfolio of properties for both bus and rail. Translink, comprising of Northern Ireland Railways, Metro and Ulsterbus is the all-embracing title for the integrated public transport operations in Northern Ireland. The contractor/supplier should contain an extensive stock range of electrical items to provide Translink to maintain all their building assets over the 3 operating companies: NIR, Ulster Bus and Metro, as well as NITHC. The company portfolio of buildings is over 400. These varying buildings contain building services systems such as: CCTV, intruder and fire alarms, lifts, escalators, automatic doors, building management systems, gas detection, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting and electrical systems, etc. The property maintenance department is also responsible for all internal and external fixture and fittings and carry out various planned maintenance works which includes associated electrical works. In order to carry out this work the property maintenance department employ a small in-house team of tradesmen that include electricians. These electricians require various materials quickly on a day-to-day basis to carry out the aforementioned works and therefore require suitable suppliers of electrical materials. Your proposal must be submitted within the eTendersNI portal, via this CfT. No other method of submission will be accepted.
