EBC AJ Parking Enforcement Services 2019 - AWARD

Tender description

Elmbridge Borough Council (EBC) is approaching the market with the view of contracting for the parking enforcement services. EBC is one of 11 districts and boroughs within Surrey, of which Surrey County Council is the Highways Authority. The Specification is primarily written to cover the requirements of Elmbridge Borough Council. The Contract is for the provision of a parking enforcement service, that supports the Council in the management of off-street car parks and on-street parking restrictions and the wider objectives set out in the Secretary of State's Statutory Guidance and the Department for Transport's Operational Guidance. The successful service provider will be required to deploy trained and equipped civil enforcement officers to parking places and locations in the borough of Elmbridge to ensure compliance with parking controls and restrictions. The service includes the maintenance of pay and display machines, and support for customers using a pay-on-exit barrier service. Although the contract is for parking enforcement in the Borough of Elmbridge, this may in future or at start of contract be extended by Contract Variation to one or more other areas in the county of Surrey.
