Tender description

Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) have a requirement to procure invasive vegetation control services. The scope includes control of rhododendron and other invasive species (e.g.: Japanese knotweed, Himalayan balsam, invasive Sitka spruce) through cutting, burning, stump treatment, foliar application of pesticides, stem treatment with pesticides, hand pulling of seedlings, steep ground/rope access work, non-chemical and non-cutting treatments (manual removal), and chipping. Forestry and Land Scotland have a requirement for invasive vegetation control services. We are therefore, inviting suppliers to complete a short questionnaire to provide FLS with information which may be used to inform the strategy and specification.
