Tender description

The aim of this project is to test the Systematic Conservation Planning (SCP) approach at a local level to assess its utility for terrestrial conservation planning for Local Nature Recovery Strategies (LNRS). The project will trial the use of SCP in three LNRS, two of which will be adjacent to each other to explore how a regional analysis could inform the development of LNRS planning to improve coherence between adjacent LNRS. The third will be in a contrasting landscape. The results of SCP will be compared to more traditional approaches in which hotspots and trade-offs are assessed by expert opinion.
