Tender description

The Client (Laois County Council) is seeking to appoint an engineering contractor to provide design and build services for this project to reopen the lower deck of the Civic Plaza carpark at County Hall, JFL Avenue Portlaoise, Co Laois. The Civic Plaza Carpark was constructed in 2007/2008 but the lower deck was closed soon after following vandalism and anti social behaviour in this area. The carpark has remained closed since. It is Laois County Council intention to reopen this carpark to provide much needed additional staff parking. It is proposed to procure the Services using Open Competition. On award, the successful Tenderers shall enter into a Contract with Laois County Council using the Public Works Contract for Building Works Designed by the Contractor PW-CF2.v 1.9, 27 June 2014
