Tender description
Northumbrian Water Ltd wish to purchase some major items of analytical laboratory equipment over the next 5 years. The incumbent supplier is Thermo Fisher Scientific. They were awarded a framework contract in October 2015. Using information from the AMP7 capex replacement programme, prices would be sought up front, and a strategic partner or partners would be awarded a 5-year framework. The equipment required is split into five lots as follows: 1) Liquid Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry (LCMS); Liquid Chromatography; 2) colorimetry (including discreet and continuous flow); 3) physical chemistry (pH, conductivity, alkalinity and fluoride); 4) ion chromatography; 5) gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC, GCFID, GCMS and thermal desorption). Northumbrian Water Ltd wish to purchase some major items of analytical laboratory equipment over the next 5 years. The incumbent supplier is thermo fisher scientific. They were awarded a framework contract in October 2015. Prior to the award of this framework, Northumbrian Water Scientific Services procured specialist analytical items individually.
