Tender description

The project aims to alleviate surface water flooding in the village of Esholt. The most recent flooding was in February 2020 and prior to that extensive flooding occurred in December 2015. The scheme will protect 19 properties located within the centre of the village as well as a single property on Church Lane. The works involve intercepting the existing watercourse through the village and diverting it down Chapel Lane in a new piped system, which will outfall direct to the river Aire, as shown in the scheme drawings
