Ayrshire Housing Framework Agreement for Window and External Door Replacements 2021 to 2025

Tender description

It is Ayrshire Housing's intention to enter into a four year Framework Agreement to carry out their Door and Window Replacement programme at various sites in Ayrshire. Please note that year 1 works will include for door replacements only and window replacements work will be included in year 3 works. It is Ayrshire Housing's intention to enter into a Framework Agreement to carry out their door and window replacement works for the next four years. The contract will be design and build of new timber windows with option of PVC-u windows for any orders issued under the framework and front and back entrance doors to be composite doors, generally to match existing configuration. External flat door leading onto the common area specification to be a wooden 30 min fire rated door for any order issued under the Framework. Following assessment of final tenders Ayrshire Housing will appoint either one or two contractors to the framework. If two contractors are appointed to the Framework Agreement, then the contractor with the higher overall score shall be awarded the contracts for the initial door and window replacement works and if successful with these projects shall continue to be awarded further contracts. The second contractor appointed to the Framework shall only be awarded contracts if the first placed contractor fails to perform to a satisfactory level or if they are unable to resource the works within the timescales required by Ayrshire Housing.
