20-46 Intellectual Property (IP) Services for Smart Concept Fund

Tender description

The aim of this tender is to create a Framework Agreement maximum of three suitable Service Providers of Intellectual Property (IP) Services that can be used by the University to assess, capture and protect University-generated IP that has potential for assignment to Spin-out companies supported through the project. The tender is to support the project with Intellectual Property services; these may include, but are not restricted to: • Drafting and filing UK and international patent applications • Prosecution of UK, PCT and international patent applications • UK and international registered trademark guidance and applications • UK and international registered design guidance and applications • Freedom to operate analysis/searches • Assignment of intellectual property rights • Other relevant IP professional services as required The intellectual property will be generated from across a diverse range of sectors: • Transport technologies • Building technologies/construction • Advanced manufacturing and advanced engineering • Environmental technologies • Applied materials • Agri-tech/agriculture, food and drink • Medical technologies • Energy generation • Defense and securities
