The State Laboratory - Request for Information - Freeze Drier

The State Laboratory requires information from the market to enable further knowledge regarding market capabilities on the upcoming purchase of a Freeze drier for the rapid and efficient drying of Milk, Egg, Molasses\Vinasses, Fish and Liver samples. The Education Procurement Service (EPS) on behalf of the State Laboratory (the “Contracting Authority”) invites responses to this request for information (“RFI”) from economic operators (“Tenderers”) for the supply of the goods as described below; Desired Requirements • The Freeze Drier should have the capacity to fit a minimum of fifteen State Laboratory samples per cycle. Samples are currently contained in 180 x 115 x 40 mm foil trays. Typical sample amounts are ;  Eggs : 100-120g  Milk : 150g  Molasses/Vinasses : 30-100g  Fish : 50-70g  Liver : 50-70g • The Freeze drier should allow rapid and efficient removal of water to fully completed procedure/recipe cycle within the shortest time possible. • The Freeze drier should have sufficiently large condenser capacity to complete two cycles without the need to defrost. • The system Software must be comprehensive, reliable and have the ability to process a large number of samples with a high throughput. It should be possible to save and run developed cycles.
