Summary of the work Cheshire CCG are looking for suppliers to provide a digital solution for their practices with the clinical system EMIS Web. This should be a dynamic tool which provides localised guidance, best practice evidence and supports the GP Forward view. Specialist role Product manager Expected Contract Length 1 year Latest start date Tuesday 1 December 2020 Early Market Engagement We will have discussions with suppliers regarding the requirements and feasibility of these. Who Speclialist Work With The supplier will be working with commissioners, clinicians and medicines management teams from the CCG. They will also be working directly with practices to undertake training and support once the solution has been developed. What Specialists Work On The work will be a mixture of local visits and liaison to understand requirements, remote deployment onto GP clinical systems and local training to engage and embed the tools in every day practice. Skills & Experience • The supplier must have demonstrable experience of optimising EMIS Web • Have experience of widespread deployment of digital solutions • Provide clinician led development, interaction with the CCG and training to practices • A clear process of clinical governance to support ongoing development of resources • The supplier must be experienced at using EMIS Web templates, concepts, protocols, library items and searches • The supplier must have a team with clinicians who can both feed into the development and the training of these tools • The supplier must have experience of SNOMED CT coding have staff who have undertaken the SNOMED CT foundation course, and be able to utilise this coding within the tools • The supplier must have a Clinical Safety officer who has undertaken the NHS digital foundation course in clinical safety • The supplier must be able to demonstrate an ITIL compliant service desk Work Location Across the boundaries of Cheshire CCG Working Arrangments The work will involve regular meetings with the CCG and the supplier to understand the requirements and to show the finalised work for comment and feedback. In light of COVID much of this will be undertaken remotely, but face to face will be used if restrictions and circumstances allow. The work will also involve training with practices. Installation of the tools will be expected to take place remotely. We expect practices to be supported by videos and online training where needed, but remote or face to face training will also be required. Security Clearance Any members of staff working for the supplier must have DBS checks and confidentiality clauses within their contracts. We expect the supplier itself to be registered with the Data Security and Protection toolkit, have access to the secure HSCN network. Additional T&Cs The suppliers will need to state overall price for the product and support. How do you propose in keeping the supplier/specialist engaged until 1st Dec? Weekly Implementation meetings with the CCG would be expected, increasing / decreasing, dependant on project progress. The supplier will be expected to prepare a Project plan to (Prince 2 standards) and a Communication & Engagement plan.Open communication channels with the organisation and our colleagues in General Practice/Primary Care will also be required via MS Teams or voice conferencing facilities provided by the supplier. 2. What is the overall budget for the contract? Approx £160k 3. What is your recruitment timeline? We are not entirely sure what you mean by the term 'recruitment'. However, if this is in regards to the contract evaluation, shortlisting, award and project start date, as stated in the advert we would envisage to start no later than December 2020.
