Tender description
This programme of work, funded by an Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Fund, is to commercialise a mobile health application for use by patients who have dizziness and balance problems as a result of concussion, inner ear disease or as a consequence of aging. The application entitled “VERTGENIUS” combines software and hardware (a wearable sensor that tracks head movement) to deliver a comprehensive rehabilitation programme to patients. The beta software and 3 prototype sensors have already been developed and built and are undergoing clinical and validity testing at present.
