Tender description

Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust are gathering information from the market regarding Electronic Rostering solutions for medical staff. Suppliers are asked to view express interest in the opportunity on the ProContracts tendering portal https://procontract.due-north.com/SupplierRegistration/Register . The opportunity is Project ID DN499521. Specification: A. System Requirements - E-Rostering System for Medics - The system and all of its functionalities are web based solutions which can be accessed without an N3/HSCN connection, and vice versa. - Users can securely access the system when working remotely (e.g. from a non-NHS site, or from home). - Compatible across multiple browsers (particularly Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox), with support for both new and older versions. B. Electronic Rostering Solution Functionality Specification • Facility to record all clinical availability (e.g. duties worked) and unavailability (e.g. absence) for all our medical staff group, including auto-roster functionality to automatically generate rosters • Ensure Skills can be added to an individual's profile to help achieve appropriate skill mix • Provide automatic reconciliation with the Trust's payroll system to eliminate the need for paper timesheets • Provide capability to apply rules to ensure compliance with medical contractual, national, and local guidelines on safe working hours • Provide access for medical staff to the eRostering system remotely (web access) to view rosters, request leave, request swaps and book temporary work etc. Interfaces with other systems - The electronic roster solution has a built-in interface with the NHS's national HR and Payroll system (ESR), which enables staff updates / changes completed on the ESR system to be automatically interfaced to the eRoster solution. - Can either supply or ensure the ability to integrate with other relevant trust systems that may be procured to support Job Planning, Appraisal and Revalidation. Integration with other systems - Mandatory integration with other systems: o Electronic Staff Record (ESR) - NHS's National HR & Payroll system - Desirable integration with other systems: o Smartphone 'App' o HealthRoster (Supplied by Allocate Plc) o Temporary Staffing (Supplied by NHS Professionals) Licensing Information - 160 User licenses C. Reporting Standard Reports - Provide reporting capability for team leaders to access information about their teams (e.g. duties, absence, sickness, unused hours) including reporting against Key Performance Indicators.
