The interim people plan published in June 2019 sets out a vision to address urgent workforce shortages in nursing and HEE will have a particularly vital role in promoting alternative routes to nursing. This will include developing an undergraduate blended learning nursing degree programme that maximises the opportunities to provide a fully interactive and innovative programme through a digital approach.
