Repair and maintenance services of security equipment

Tender description

Sedgemoor District Council require a suitably qualified contractor to design, supply and install a new VMS system. The contract will include ongoing support. In addition we are looking for a supplier to service and maintain the current CCTV system within Somerset. A VMS system will be designed and installed within the control room with further services such as CCTV maintenance within Somerset. Full details of the requirements are provided within the ITT and the specification documents. SDC currently uses a Tecton VMS which is installed in the Bridgwater CCTV Control Room (CR). The Control Room comprises of the following: • six (6) large format video wall screens; • three (3) operator desks. The SDC CR actively monitors the following locations: • Bridgwater town centre (51 cameras), • various buildings in Bridgwater (17 cameras), • Colley Lane Depot, Bridgwater (10 cameras), • Burnham on Sea (13 cameras), • Taunton (59 cameras), • Wellington (6 cameras), • Yeovil (29 cameras).
