Tender description

The contract is to provide a Handy Person Service to individuals in the London Borough of Redbridge. The main duties of the service are: • identify needs of resident that require signposting to other services; • complete works including: • minor plumbing or electrical repairs; • fitting shelves; • installing smoke or carbon monoxide alarms; • fitting grab rails or banisters; • installing key safes; • re-fixing loose carpets; • rehanging curtains; and • replacing light bulbs. This procurement is issued under an open tender process in link with the Public Contracts Regulation 2015. The London Borough of Redbridge requires a provider to be able to provide the full range of service for the Handy Person for the service users as per the specification detailed in the tender documentation which is available to download free via the London Tenders Portal and accessing reference: DN417427.
