Tender description

NHS Lothian seeks bids for the delivery and installation of supporting equipment for the Edinburgh Flu Vaccination Programme. The programme is expected to start on 6th September 2021 and continue for a minimum of eight consecutive weekends in up to 2 sites across the city with the potential to be extended if required. The procurement, pursuant to which this Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is issued, seeks bids for the delivery and installation of supporting equipment for the Edinburgh Flu Vaccination Programme. The programme is expected to start on 6th September 2021 and continue for a minimum of eight consecutive weekends in up to 2 sites across the city with the potential to be extended if required as further detailed in this ITT and is being undertaken by Lothian Health Board (more commonly known as NHS Lothian) (“NHS Lothian”). The requirement is for the provision of gazebos, toilets, tables and storage container and is critical to the delivery of the flu vaccination project. Loss of either or both of these may render the site unable to offer vaccinations programmed for that day which potentially would have significant consequences for public health.
