Tender description

The board requires a service for shredding of confidential waste. This will include, delivery, uplift, destruction and recycling of all confidential waste. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (herein ‘NHS GG&C’) is the largest of 14 regional NHS Boards in Scotland. It serves a population of 1.2 million and employs circa 44 000 staff. NHS GG&C have a legal obligation to correctly dispose of the Boards confidential information. NHS GG&C require a sole supplier to provide a paper shredding of confidential waste service. It is unlikely that NHS GG&C will use one service type therefore the supplier will be required to provide various types of services for specific departmental needs.
