Tender description

The Livestock Information Programme (LIP) will deliver a new multi-species livestock information, identification and tracking service known as the Livestock Information Service (LIS), LIS will be developed through an industry-government partnership and will bring world-leading livestock traceability to the UK. Livestock Information Ltd sought a supplier to provide the programme with an internal audit strategy and an internal audit plan to include but not be limited to an appraisal of the Livestock Information Ltd's activities, financial and otherwise. The supplier must be capable of complying with the Public Sector Internal Audit Standards and any elements of Managing Public Money and the Audit and Risk Committee Handbook relevant to Internal Audit. This procurement was undertaken via Management Consultancy Framework 2 and utilising a direct award which is permissible for contracts with a maximum duration of 9 months. This contract will be for a period of 7 months, commencing on 18 August 2020 and expiring on 31 March 2021.
