Environmental Impact Assessment Report and Appropriate Assessment for the AFLOWT project at AMETS, Co. Mayo

Tender description

The objective of this tender is the provision of an EIAR and AA Report to accompany a Foreshore License application for the proposed development to the relevant authority. This Request for Tender specifically deals with the requirement for SEAI to submit an Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) and Appropriate Assessment (AA) reporting (as required under the Habitats Directive 92/43/EEC e.g. AA Screening, Natura Impact Statement (NIS) or Habitat Regulation Assessment (HRA)) with the proposed Foreshore License application for the deployment of a FOW turbine at AMETS. Both the EIAR and AA are required to consider only the following aspects of the proposed development; other aspects were considered at the original consenting stage, Figure 2: 1. The proposed FOW turbine 2. The proposed cable to shore All other aspects (e.g. onshore cables, substation etc.) should be considered under the cumulative assessment as appropriate.
