Evaluation of the project and activities programme is crucial in order to make sure that Nottingham City Council, the Nottingham Castle Trust, National Lottery Heritage Fund, D2N2 and other organisations can learn from the experience gained in undertaking the project, and to measure success against the expected outcomes. For tenderers, to appreciate the scope and aspiration of the Nottingham Castle Transformation Project, read the brief with the supporting document, Nottingham Castle Project Executive Summary, attached. The evaluation will be multifaceted and cover all key stages of the project from development through to delivery with input from the Round 1 & 2 development and design teams, consultants and key contractors through to the operational experience including visitors, community participants, volunteers, staff, trustees and project board members and other stakeholders.
