Tender description

AECOM were commissioned (as of September 2019) to undertake preliminary and detailed designs, whilst Skanska was commissioned since January 2020 as the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) contractor to assist with ECI activities. The A40 North scheme will be delivered as follows; • Stage 1 – Enabling Works • Stage 2 – Main Contract Works The attached brief details the work to completion of Stage 2 main contract works only. The Peterborough Contract will be used to engage the Contractor for both the Enabling Works and the Main Works with two separate Task Orders. At the Enabling Works stage clauses from the NEC 3 Option E, will be used. At the Main Works stage clauses from NEC Option C will be used to engage the Contractor. A Bill of Quantity (BQ) and activity schedule is attached.
