Tender description

Thames Water wishes to award one or more framework agreements to supplier(s) capable of supplying valves directly, or on behalf of its contractors in AMP 7. The product will be suitable for use in clean water and waste water operations. There is also a requirement for maintenance of valves. The agreement will be covered by the following lots: Lot 1: Isolation Valves Lot 2: Non return Valves Lot 3: Air Valves Lot 4: Penstocks Lot 5: Hydrants Lot 6: Valve maintenance. Agreements will be for an initial term of 3 years with the option to extend to a maximum of 8 years (3 + 2 + 2 + 1). Volumes will not be committed with any suppliers. Thames Water reserve the right not to issue any awards for each lot or issue multiple awards for each lot of this agreement to achieve the most efficient and economical service solution and the security and consistent continuity of supply and delivery. Thames Water reserve the right to enter into a contract or contracts for the provision of all or any number of lots. Supply of isolation valves including gate valves (resilient and metal faced), knife gate valves, butterfly valves (concentric and double eccentric), ball valves, gearbox, extension spindles and all accessories including spares.
