Tender description

Temporary Agency staff for the Council's Neighbourhood Services dept. as and when required for the following roles. HGV Driver/Loader, Waste Management Operative, District Cleansing Operative, Waste Management Operative (litter and fly tip removal), Parks & Open Spaces Operative. The need for temporary staff for these roles fluctuates throughout the year. Anticipated annual expenditure on this contract is estimated as between approximately £50k pa and a maximum of £100k pa. The maximum contract term is 5 yrs., i.e., an initial term of 2 yrs with the option to extend for up to a further 3 years in increments of 12 months at a time. The specified staff may be required on occasion at short notice e.g., within an hour. The tender documents should be available to access via www.eastmidstenders.org shortly after this Notice appears.
