Tender description

Midland Heart requires an Asbestos surveying and analytical contractor that is accredited by UKAS to ISO17020 and ISO12025 standards. The service provider (SP) will undertake asbestos surveys, sampling and analytical monitoring in accordance with current and future legislation. This contract is required to cover Midland Hearts Customer and Communities and care and support properties covering the range of Midland Hearts geographical scope in the greater Midlands area. The service will cover a range of Asbestos surveying and analytical reports for properties as described below: — the undertaking of void Asbestos surveys which may include refurbishment surveys for all remaining areas and include gardens and outbuildings, — provision of Asbestos surveys in line with planned renewal and replacement programmes, — provide Asbestos Surveys in support of responsive repairs, — provide communal/block re-inspection and survey reports, — provide emergency call-outs, — provide analytical monitoring such as analytical air monitoring and assessments of sites for safety.
