Tender description
Removal of existing wearing course macadam along with section of imprinted asphalt along John Street in Kilkenny City. Laying of new surface to consist of 50mm depth of Polymer modified SMA with 14mm PSV 65 chip. Undertaken role of PSCS, provision of traffic management, reinstatement of road markings and adjustment / repairs to granite slabs on approach to 3 no. ramped crossings also forms part of the works. Work will be undertaken during the evening (1800 to 2300) Sunday to Thursday and will be undertaken under a road closure of John Street. Local traffic will be maintained however as will pedestrian traffic on footpaths. Full details on attached cover letter, pricing drawing and preliminary safety and health plan.
