Tender description

The Council requires the uplift of segregated/unsegregated waste for processing and diversion from landfill. The contract is broken down into five lots. Uplift may be required from various Council depots throughout the authority and the Ayrshire Roads Alliance area. Uplift of previously collected Soil and Rubble waste from Council depot for service provider to process and divert from landfill, approximately 2 700 tonnes per annum. Uplift of previously collected timber waste from Council depot for service provider to process and divert from landfill, approximately 2 300 tonnes per annum. Uplift and process tree trunks(diseased and non-diseased) for service provider to process and divert from landfill, approximately 50 tonnes per annum. Uplift of previously collected tyres from Council depot for service provider to process and divert from landfill, approximately 280 tonnes per annum. Uplift of previously collected unsegregated carriageway and footway excavated materials and products from Council depots for service provider to process and divert from landfill, approximately 5 600 tonnes per annum.
