Delivery of an internal audit service to the Children’s Commissioner, Future Generations Commissioner, Older People’s Commissioner, Welsh Language Commissioner and Public Services Ombudsman for Wales. Delivery of an internal audit service to the Children’s Commissioner, Future Generations Commissioner, Older People’s Commissioner, Welsh Language Commissioner and Public Services Ombudsman for Wales. It should provide, in an economical, efficient and timely manner: — an opinion on risk management arrangements, internal control and governance within the organisation to inform the Governance Statement; — reviews of the adequacy of systems and compliance with financial controls; — advice on how value for money and return on investment in the core activities of each organisation can be measured and improved; — examples of good practice, comparing and contrasting with systems and procedures in public sector organisations similar in size and scope.
