Bord Na Móna Powergen Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bord Na Mona plc, intends to construct a wind farm consisting of 24 wind turbine generators and associated infrastructure on a c.1908 Ha site spanning Derryadd, Derryaroge and Lough Bannow bogs located approximately 2 km east of the town of Lanesborough and 9 km south west of Longford Town in south County Longford, Ireland. It is intended that the wind farm will be developed following a successful bid into a Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS) anticipated in 2020. This document provides Tenderers with general information regarding the Project and a description of the anticipated selection process. 1.2 Contract Description Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified candidates interested in being considered as contractor for the provision of owner’s engineer services for Derryadd Wind Farm.
