Provision of high-quality, rapid feedback from trained advisors in relation to students’ written work (specifically on matters relating to language, structure and style and not academic content). Awarded to include high-quality support to all students which would otherwise not be possible for the university to deliver internally, in particular to benefit international students and students from low-participation backgrounds. • including: — qualitative feedback on drafts of written work to enable students to make improvements; — live-chat functionality for real-time study skills support in core areas (English, Maths, Science); • support service available 24/7, in view of students dispersed around the world and in multiple time-zones; • analytics and reporting to support on-going support for engagement and evaluation. The contract is awarded to the supplier to ensure that the level of support provided to students is of the highest possible quality, including with respect to confidence levels that the service provides the requirements set out above: • is known to provide advice to students which is consistent with and does not conflict with that given by academic staff; • integrates seamlessly with existing student platforms for ease of access.
