The provision of edge protection and the installation of Kee Klamp Railing System No. 8 x 5mm, White along the crosswall quayside at Ramsgate Harbour. Ramsgate Harbour was originally built as a commercial enterprise and in the custom of the day, no consideration for edge protection was made. Over the last few decades, the nature of the harbour business has changed from commercial to leisure and becoming an attraction to the general public. This has exposed the public to the risk of falling into the harbour, and several incidents have been recorded to date. The contractor is to supply and install Kee Klamp Railing System No. 8 x 5mm, White (referred to as - the railings), in keeping with the railings already installed for phase one of this project. The Contract is anticipated to commence upon 2nd of November 2020 for a duration of sixteen (16) weeks. The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal quotations. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Quote document. Any clarifications or questions must be submitted via the Message area of the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 7 October 2020. Completed quotation documents must be submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 16 October 2020.
