Supply of water treatment chemicals across the Yorkshire Water Region including: — Ferric Sulphate — Phosphoric Acid — Monosodium Phosphate (MSP) — Caustic Soda — Sodium Hypochlorite — Hydrated Lime — Salt — Sulphuric Acid — Ferric Chloride — Calcium Nitrate — Microsand — Sodium Bi-Sulphite — Antifoam — Liquid Lime — Ammonium Sulphate — Sodium Carbonate — Hydrochloric Acid — Polyelectrolytes. This procurement activity intends to award the supply of a range of water treatment chemicals to Yorkshire Water to one or many suppliers. The total estimated value of the award ranges between GBP 288 million and GBP 530 million over an 8-year period. The value range is due to the testing of alternative technologies and catchment solutions to comply with the requirements of the Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive and the Water Framework Directive; the results of which are, as yet, unknown. Successful potential bidders will then be invited to complete a request for information (RfI).
