Tender description
— provide a specialist asbestos consultant to work directly with SWTRA in their Llandarcy office; — provide an asbestos survey team/s to carry out surveys and associated works as directed by SWTRA; — provide an asbestos analysis and testing team to carry out the taking and analysis of material samples to determine the presence of asbestos; — advice on, and supervision/monitoring of asbestos removal works via SWTRA frameworks; — assist SWTRA to prepare the annual regional asbestos management plans for high risk assets, the medium risk assets and the low risk assets for submission to the Welsh Government. Tenders were evaluated on the basis of both price and quality. The Tenderer achieving the highest combined score was awarded the contract. For the avoidance of doubt, the procurement exercise was carried out by SWTRA and Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (NPTCBC).
