School cleaning services

Tender description

The successful supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for Westcountry Schools Trust at the following schools: • South Dartmoor Community College, • Wembury Primary School, • Oreston Community Academy. The contract will commence on 1 September 2020 for a period of 3 years, with a possible extension of 2 years by mutual consent and on the same terms and conditions as the original contract. The contract will be fixed price for the term of the contract. The value of the contract is circa GBP 220 000 per annum. The client is seeking a suitably experienced supplier with current experience of working within the education marketplace, ideally with a strong operational base within the South West of England, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility. Some of the current staff are in the Local Government Pension Scheme; an actuary report will be provided and the successful Supplier will need to sign an ABS agreement and pay for all associated costs (including another actuary report, if required).
