Tender description
Cork ETB as a Contracting Authority (and a Framework Client in its own right) is the lead ETB for the formation of the framework and has agreed to manage this framework agreement on behalf of the sector. Individual ETBs (Framework Clients) will conduct mini-competitions and/or call-offs from the framework. Contract for Services This Framework covers the provision of project management (PM) services for construction related projects undertaken by Educational Trading Boards (ETBs) and will be based on a contract for services. Project Types Projects types include, but are not limited to, the following: • Major capital projects with a value over €7.5m; • Minor type works projects including school extensions between €1m and €7.5m; • Additional schools’ accommodation and temporary accommodation of a significant nature, complexity, size etc. over €1m; • Summer Works (SWS) and Emergency Works (EWG) with a contract value over €1m; and • Other projects deemed appropriate by ETBs. Participants in the Framework The following is a list of the 16 ETB, any, or all of which have the right to drawdown from this Panel 1. Donegal ETB 2. Mayo Sligo Leitrim ETB 3. Galway Roscommon ETB 4. Limerick Clare ETB 5. Kerry ETB 6. Cork ETB 7. Tipperary ETB 8. Waterford Wexford ETB 9. Cavan Monaghan ETB 10. Longford Westmeath ETB 11. Louth Meath ETB 12. Dublin and Dun Laoghaire ETB 13. Laois Offaly ETB 14. Kilkenny Carlow ETB 15. Kildare Wicklow ETB 16. City of Dublin ETB Project managers appointed to an ETB should: 1. Be at senior project manager level, such that their expertise on all project related matters can be brought to bear on all communications and interactions with the ETB’s buildings team. Where a task or body of work is delegated to member of the PM team, the senior project manager shall retain full responsibility and oversight for all outputs from their team. 2.
