For avoidance of doubt this is not a call for competition at this stage, the purpose is to advise the market on the forthcoming procurement of London Borough of Tower Hamlets Youth Services and seek ideas from the market that may inform the final specification. A virtual supplier engagement event will be held on Thursday 1 October 2020 3 p.m. — 4.30 via Microsoft Teams. Access details will be confirmed nearer the time. Please register your interest to attend the event through the Portal or by sending an email to procurement@towerhamlets.gov.uk by 12.00 noon on 30 September 2020 quoting ‘Youth Services’ Description of services: The youth service aims to provide a wide range of high-quality engaging opportunities and activities for young people aged 11-19 (up to age 25 if they have additional needs) to enable them to build their social and emotional skills, develop their own projects and enjoy safe spaces. The provision will be divided: • centres based activities that will cover the four quadrants in the borough (the north west, south west, north east and south east); • detached teams that will undertake street-based youth work with hard to reach groups of young people; • specialist projects aimed at groups of young people that may require dedicated support. This will be a second follow-up event to warm the market and seek their feedback on the proposed services. Organisations wishing to express their interest are requested to register on the London Tenders Portal (www.londontenders.org) where the documentation will be available for download in the future.
