Online Market Engagement Event regarding the proposed new Swindon Supported Lodgings Service

You are invited to attend an online Market Engagement Event regarding the proposed new Swindon Supported Lodgings Service Overview: In December 2020, Swindon Borough Council intends to go out to tender for a single provider to deliver the Swindon Supported Lodgings Service for the next 3-5 years (contract to commence 1 June 2021). At this event, you will have the opportunity to find out more about the proposed model of delivery, ask questions, help us refine the model and have your say about what this service (and the associated contract) could look like. We are very interested in hearing from any provider currently delivering this type of service who has innovative ideas and feel that they could deliver a high quality service for Swindon’s young people (aged 16+) at an affordable rate. What is Supported Lodgings? Supported Lodgings is for care leavers and young people who are at risk of homelessness. This type of provision is currently unregulated and is different to Supported Living in that it is supporting young people are preparing them for independence and the next chapter of their life.
