Tender description

Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for health and social care. DPS 2 including four lots for residential care, nursing care, respite services and residential substance misuse treatment and rehabilitation services. Lot 1: Residential Care — Provision of care quality commission (CQC) Regulated Care services for the London Borough of Croydon. The specification describes the minimum requirements and standards for delivering residential care services. Providers can apply for one or more service categories (sublots) for residential care, which are: Service category 1 – Residential care older people; Service category 2 – Residential care older people with dementia; Service category 3 – Residential care learning disabilities; Service category 4 – Residential care physical disabilities and/or sensory impairment; Service category 5 – Residential care mental health; Service category 6 – Residential care for autism. Lot 2: Nursing Care — Provision of Care Quality Commission (CQC) Regulated Care services for the London Borough of Croydon. The Specification describes the minimum requirements and standards for delivering nursing care services. Providers can apply for one or more service categories (sublots) for nursing care, which are: Service category 1 — Nursing care older people, Service category 2 — Nursing care specialist/dementia, Service category 3 — Nursing care continuing healthcare, Service category 4 — Nursing care younger adults, Service category 5 — Intermediate care. Lot 3 Respite Care Services is a planned service which is part of a service user's assessed needs and support planning. It is alternative care/support for the ‘cared for person’ to enable the carer to have a break from caring. The specification describes the minimum requirements and standards for delivering residential substance misuse treatment and rehabilitation services. Providers can apply for one or more service categories (sublots), which are: Service category 1 — Residential detox, Service category 2 — Residential detox and residential rehab, Service category 3 — Residential rehabilitation.
